#166783 - MAX1452 Responding to: ???'s previous message |
When working with software development, a some sort of version control is in place.
But how do you control hardware revisions, modifications, special versions etc. And how do you control the amount of time to charge each client. the one time I had to do that I used the MAX1452 for serial number. The actual revision could be store in a cheap serial EEPROM or a small PLD. AH, I seem to racall that MAX has a small chip thet is serial number AND EEprom For the charge: [(dev cost * 2)/number of users] + time to modify one unit. Erik |
