I did mail Pico Technology and suggested that they should complement their USB oscilloscopes with an optional USB box just containing a couple of switches and buttons, to allow the user to quickly change time base, offset, gain, invert trig level etc without having to play around with the computer mouse.

I never got any response. Most probably, they don't even realize how cumbersome it is to use a PC scope for real work.
