Besides the specifications how "good" a scope is, you also have the problem how well it works for you. Some scopes are very quick and easy to operate, while other scopes may look very advanced and have very nice specifications, but you will need to use macros or press through menu after menu after menu just to make a trivial little change that you know you will want to change a gain in five minutes time.

Use a scope for a week before you decide if you want to get more of them.
