An issue that is much more important than low noise, though, is to have some good trigger features! Unfortunately, you can not easily demonstrate them by a set of scope plots, but only by thoroughly testing "with your own hands". Good triggering makes that you will see certain "situations" at all, which you otherwise would never notice!!! Buying a scope is like buying a guitar. You cannot buy a guitar from a catalog.
