why do you profess to know that inverters are more costly and parts are not? Of course, I know, that fabricating an inverter is really hard stuff. But why assuming that they cannot solve all these problems? hwre have I, by stressing that "fabricating an inverter is really hard stuff" in any way been "assuming that they cannot solve all these problems". There are, you know as well as me, some that always think "I can make it cheaper" and e.g. come out with a microvolt analog two sided board and post "why is it not steady?".
