Motor EMI good but…terrible EMI from Inverter --- not allowed
Sensorless speed control possible
Low cost per horsepower, though higher than for 1-ph AC induction motor
Higher start torque than for 1-ph, easy to reverse motor --- The OP want 3 phase
Inverter ‘shoot-through’ possible, requires ‘dead-time’ circuits & compensation ...... go buy another motor when that happens

The one thing that is lost in this thread is that whatever the components may cost, the spikes running around in an inverter are so that the LAYOUT requitres more work than the design.
