#161347 - Unhelpful subject line
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Your subject line wasn't descriptive, was it? Basically, it was just, "Help".

Anyhow - yes, quite apart from cable costs, it is always a good idea to try to get the RF unit as close to its antenna as possible!

Are there chips for maintain speed at long cables?

Yes, all modern RS232 transceivers claim to exceed the "original" limitations - check the websites of the likes of Maxim, TI, NS, ST, et al

Failing that, check out B&B Electronics at http://www.bb-europe.com - they offer a wide range of RS232 line extenders...
