Note the low resolution it supports. The pictures I have seen were from the time of introduction of the product, and then, only one, relatively low resolution model was available.
There are several tricks how to avoid need for complex logic. For example, generating the sync mix - which is not at all out of reach of a moderately fast mcu today - spares significant amount of resources. Similarly, if the mcu accesses VRAM only during blanks, and runs only out of its internal resources (memories) during active display periods, the address/data mux can be spared... etc.etc. JW |
