#142580 - That was what I needed ...
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Hi Stefan,

Thank you so much. That was the exact product that I was looking for. I have in fact downloaded all the user manual, and other Q&A on the same site.

The product looks a breeze to use as the TX / RX pins can take 5V level directly.

I thought I will proceed like this :

- Have an MCU read in the 4 analog channels ( which is what I need to display continuously on the screen ).

- The MCU will then collate the values in the proper format with the nomecalture for them like this :
PUMP PRESSURE : 250 Bar
PUMP FLOW : 20 lpm
MOTOR RPM : 2800
OIL TEMP. : 48 Deg C

- Then transmitt this to the display once every 500ms ( OK I will have to take care of the field width of the displayed characters etc )

_ I would have thus got a universal configurable remote display unit.

Please tell me if the above will work out the way as I have understood.

Thanks

Raghu
