... but, if the gadget would not survive the spark test, there is no reason to go to the lab.
And, if Stefan finds some way to "callibrate" the "$5 radio" (ok, he'd perhaps try to find some cheap spectrum analyser, e.g. on e-bay or so) and the "spark generator", maybe using leased, reasonable quality equipment, in some form of open-air test (which is not uncommon for true EMC testing), he can even get close enough. JW PS. don't forget, quality antennae are of utmost importance even for crude measurement... |
