Most New Programers and New Grad have Only used a packeged IDE like Windows, Jave, or what not. They may not enven be aware that they are not required to you the tool that way. They just assume that when they move to embedded, They just assume it is the same. Then find out they have to choose. It is hard to choose when you did not even know everything is not pre-packeged like Windows.
For ARM there are many choices. Chip mfg? Some have there own packages. Money? Free Time? Learning curve, setup time, ect. Goal? Product, School I just want to learn ARM. |
