#139804 - Seismic Reflection vs Gravimeter
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Rob,

What I'm looking at is the Goler Formation out in the El Paso Mountains in the N.W. Mojave-California. There the Ancient River (Goler Formation) which flowed from the Sierra Nevada Range (next one over)where the bedrock goes from 200' and uplifts to surface. After doing a Mag. survey and determining the location of the highest readings (black sand and heavies) was to find out the angle at which the bedrock is tilted to see what I would be looking at taking heavy equipment in (D9 or whatever).

Very interesting you should mention the gravimeter,I have this video from A.M. Productions (Canada) called "How to Develop a placer prospect into a mine" with David Genn and he was saying that he recently started using one and found it to be quicker and easier than doing seismic shots. That said I'd have to rent one as you know they're very expensive. So much for a simple 8052 project.
Thanks to all who contributed.
