I'm not sure why you posted this on a MCS51 specific forum but you might find some (if not most) infrastructure here:

But probably the integration of 8(!) 32(!)-hydrophone arrays might more than pay off some time... I didn't have a closer look and don't know if this would be a good match but if you have a MCS51 based focus you might also want to have a look at http://wickenhaeuser.de/ and look for the term GeoPrecision there.
