Sure.
As all of those dirty tricks, they have to remain in the darkest corner of the developer's toolbox, clearle labelled "emergency use only" - either hidden in a library never to be seen by human, as the last resort to spare a few bytes when there is no escape, or as a disguise if you want to make hard time for the "unlocker" guys... :-)
