Basically, after you've been a member for 6 months, you will find that you have a "Score message" listbox on every message that you can optionally score. Those scores will be attributed to the message's overall score.
The idea ... is that instead of a half dozen people saying, "Yep, John Doe is right", they can just score it as "Good answer" or whatever which, in theory, will generate fewer useless messages to wade through in the forum. -- Russ |
