Not only were you able to answer the OP's question about a very obscure communication method, you were also instrumental at demonstrating the ease with which one can search for information on the web (by one's self, if so inclined) using one of the most common search engines in the world...ultimately fulfilling another requirement by the OP - KISS...

I wonder how diligently the OP searched prior to posting the thread here?
