#131493 - Reader or User? Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I´m certainly a reader of 8052.com - usually over Steve´s shoulder, or via his account, but just occasionally I´ll login independently.
User? Possibly? I admit to keeping a watching eye (and only that) on Steve´s moderator duties when he is out of, or has intermittent, internet contact, just in case anything slips past Craig´s eagle eye, as even he has to sleep sometimes. But mainly I find reading the forum a fascinating and entertaining activity as the spouse of an engineer and the mother of two proto-engineers. It is very interesting to see the similarities that many of you share, though there are as many, if not more, differences. Tact & diplomacy are largely present, even if sometimes a reply needs to be about as subtle as a brick. Also, anybody can have off days though some seem to have them more than others ;) To be quite honest I don´t think there is an "average" 8052.com reader or user type, as I know from observation that even those who are highly knowledgable about the processor family can still pick up new techniques or angles while reading here. So everyone can be classed as "learning", even if many are already "learned". Lizzy |
