#130180 - It's not a burden to all
Responding to: ???'s previous message
It is a burden to those who have to rely on others to handle that shoveling task. My Mom had already cleared her sidewalk, or, actually, hired it done. The *sshole who subsequently scraped the snow back onto her walks in order to make a parking space was not doing a service to anyone other than himself, though. I see that as WAY beyond inconsiderate.

Younger men, capable of accomplishing some of the snow removal themselves won't have a problem, but my Mom's 87 years old and has a heart valve issues. Her health is generally O.K. but I worry about that simply because of the four people who died while shoveling snow during/after this storm.

Perhaps we had a mite more than Craig's neighborhood. THe snow pile next to the cut into my Mom's driveway is about 4 feet deep, which obscures view while backing out of the driveway. There was a 10-foot (~3 meters) drift from my rooftop to my neighbor's SUV in his driveway, which completely blocked my driveway. If I hadn't had help, I'd still be stuck here. The city didn't clear the streets, nor did they pick up trash this week. (I do love to complain, don't I?)
