#130112 - What's really sad ...
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Lots of people in the affected area are "snowed in," not because the 24"+ of snow are too much, but because there are people so inconsiderate as to do what's been done at my Mom's. Now, my Mom is in her late 80's, yet still likes to get around, as her health is pretty good, but she's not up to moving multiple KP of snow. One of the geniuses in the immediate neighborhood used his pickup with a blade (obvious blade print in the 4-foot-deep pile) to shove the snow that she'd had removed from the sidewalk a second time back onto her sidewalk so he could allow some of his party guests to park in front of her house. Now she'll have to have her snow removal guy come around a third time ...

I just drive a "normal" front-wheel-drive sedan, so, unlike the urban-tank drivers, I don't move snow onto the sidewalk when I park. I just get stuck in it, so I don't do that.

I've already contacted the mayor's office, but I think I'll have to have Guido and Benny talk to those neighbors.

It really doesn't encourage "Holiday spirit."
