Well, you wouldn't be happy if it would happen to you that somebody gives away for free the same product you were working at the last year...
I always thought these companies (cadence, mentor) make the money mainly out of ASIC and raw silicon tools and the programmable logic market from them is just a niche... I might be easily wrong as I have absolutely no idea of the scale this business has. JW |
