as always anyone attempting RS-485 without reading "ten ways to bulletproof RS485" first is making trouble for himself it can be found under 'best serial appnotes' in <--- links



By the way, that is the first thing I do, lots and lots of downloading, including the above, I think I have printed out more than 500 pages of stuff on RS485.

Ironically, the more you download, the more confusing it gets...
