#121973 - Yes, Joe I use that one when the secons e-mail arr Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Can you afford, and are you willing to pay, my private consultation fee?
Yes, Joe I use that one when the second e-mail arrives> the first e-mail, usually do not state "term paper" and, as such, I refer it to the forum. Often after 'first refusal' a second e-mail arrives, "I have to turn in my final paper next Thursday, I am desperate, please send code and schematics". I have been tempted to send a schematic with strategically placed components that will blow up with a big bang when power is applied, but since no one has continued after e-mail #2 I have not done so (yet). Of course, if, indeed, the issue was a term paper, and the response were "where do I send the check" there would be only one such component. If the request was for an industrial application, my usual consultant practices (good solid working design) would, of course, apply. Erik |
