#121757 - IR pyrometers
Responding to: ???'s previous message

However, I would point out that if you develop a non-contact thermometer to measure tire temperature you would be a short step away from having something mounted inside the fender well and monitoring tire temperature in real time.

Non-contact, IR pyrometers can be had for as little as 50-60 USD here at the moment, certainly in the range 20-100 deg C. If you REALLY need precision, you need a dual-colour unit and they COST.

I have one in my hands at the moment which has cost over 4000 USD.
