The problem shows graphs of input impedance which is why I've been using it instead of admittance. The thing that keeps throwing me is the fact that the real component of the input impedance varies with frequency. My intuition tells me this circuit is some type of bandstop filter like so:



But the input impedance of this circuit is R + j(wL-1/wC), and the real component in this equation is constant and does not vary with frequency...
