however, I think this problem show a fact that apply to so many other things.
More and more cost cutting for any reason manufactureres of cheap crap skip all things that the unsuspecting buyer would not think to ask about or notice at time of purchase. Who would, at the time of purcahse, think of asking "is this treadmill antistatic?" so the crapmaker uses a cheaper belt that gives you a kick (pun NOT intended). I bought one from a renowned manufacturer and it IS antistatic, the only kicking is my feeble attempts. This is seen throughout, as another example when shopping for a car I saw a car (not an inexpensive one) where you can not set the air to "chest" without turning the AC on at the same time. Erik |
