#115362 - It would be proper to start a new thread Responding to: ???'s previous message |
I(n the chat section not inject this into a dormant thread.
Use a low conductive top coating on the belt and a grounded discharge contact as close to the customer contact area as possible. Terry For the unit I was working on a 35 killowatt 11,000 volt rf generator, There is a safety lock down procedure that must be followed each time that you "open" the HV cage and a reverse activation procedure used to exit the cage. In adition there are door interlocks that de energise the open section. The procedure is intended to prevent danger if the interlocks are accidentaly closed while a person is working inside. The exit procedure is designed to insure that all necessary safety devices are stored and available for the next time the cage needs to be opened. The exit procedure also ensures that the power supply is not shorted with the lockdown bar when the power is applied as that would be a very costly mistake. Terry |
