what is the problem?, if you buy from "surplus vendors" you should expect this. Richard, one thing I do not understand, you stated somewhere that your rate was quite high, how can you afford to spend time hunting surplus (and testing it for functionality after bringing it home). You state you make a lot of one-offs and if the engineering cost is, say $10.000 why the h... do you worry about saving $40 on a display. Find a fully working non-surplus display and stick to it. What have you encountered? Displays that fully worked when you got all the mistakes in the documentation rectified. Erik PS try VFD, they are glorious and only abt twice the price of LCD |
