Give me a programmer who is aware of things.
Anyone else will be a programmer in name only. There's always programmer cleverness/laziness, which has nothing to do with the language ... absolutely re "cleverness/laziness" I have often seen "clever" C used as a cover for laziness. If you spend half a day to make a line of code "clever" you can, instead of saying "I'm lazy", say "I'm clever". The joy should be in the "cleverness" of the product, not in the "cleverness" of the code. Erik |
