#110880 - Portable? Responding to: ???'s previous message |

'C' is NOT portable
'C' is NOT portable 'C' is NOT portable 'C' is NOT portable If you use it carefully & intelligently, and understand the issues, you can use 'C' to write code with a high degree of portability. But, as ever, the mere choice of 'C' as a programming language does not of itself give portability. Computer Scientists love to go on about Portability but, in embedded systems, the requirement is often so specific to the target system that portablity is of much lesser concern - possibly none. |
