In my ancient textbook (1982), all DTL examples used 2 series diodes and a negative bias at the base of the output transistor.
I am also sensitive to this exam issue because I received a low grade on a test question to analyze an amplifier in which one the transistors was saturated. That was not the answer the instructor wanted. |
