#105039 - Time constant Responding to: ???'s previous message |

I have never thought about the guts before. Some how I think a piezo element is what is in there. Can anyone enlighten me? Thanks Terry Does the thing exhibit a time constant ? Classis problem with piezo sensors is the leakage through the readout electronics, even if you use very good charge amp, so a fixed load/output decays exponentially to zero. Is the o/p digital or analogue ? Do they make a noise as they work ? Steve |
