Items such as this are offered on eBay with the implicit assumption (not a safe one by any means) that products offered will be useable by the generic buyer. I'd take this up with PayPal if that's how you paid for it. They may provide some assistance in getting what you think you paid for. If not, well, nothing's lost, since you're essentially already "screwed."

I've gotten the general impression in recent dealings with Chinese vendors that they'd really prefer not to sell their low-cost products to the U.S. There could be any number of reasons, but I'd guess that, now that they're able to produce some original art, they'd rather not have U.S. people see what they've done and improve on it. At the prices at which they deal, I doubt that would happen, but you never know ...

I found a site also advertising this same product, and they appeared willing to discuss making amends. Since I have no order number with which to confront them, I can't pursue the matter. Perhaps you can confront the vendor from whom you bought your EP51 and see whether they can help you at all. Many PRC businessmen speak, read, and write English, though perhaps not as well as we'd like.
