Can you describe how the software works with this EP51? First off I see that the item description on eBay does not specify that the EP51 comes with any software CD. Is that incorrect or does the kit indeed come with an install CD? Secondly I see that this device has a serial port on the EP51 and then it comes with a USB to Serial Adapter cable. Do you use generic software on the PC side such as HyperTerm or TeraTerm to talk to the device? If this is the case is the software showing the Chinese prompts displaying from the EP51 to the PC onto the terminal emulator screen? If there is a Windows software package specifically for the EP51 where did you get it if not from an install CD? Do you download it from some web site? Michael Karas |
