I'm not sure. I'm reading the new PDF manual (v2.9.0) which is leaps and bounds above most open-source project documentation. I just remember from looking at it earlier, and noted that there were syntax difference for the C-language extensions, like for port bits and such.

It's probably a day of porting a project, and the good news is that the Silicon Labs folks like SDCC and support it.
