#171695 - That's not bad :-)
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Do you think it's bad because it's 'C', or bad because it's "old" - or both?

No, I don't think C is bad, but I started programming PC when I was about 10, and I started with qbasic. And I'm still using it, if I want to make simple programs eg. for making simple calculations for electronics, or something else, because qbasic is easy to use and to program I think.

The bad is for the education of programming. Sadly there was two or three lessons were held.
The C IDE is old, but it can be good, maybe just the teacher didn't teach us enough.

I would like to start programming AVRs some months later, but now the 8052 is a good stuff to learn the basics I think.
It's a good stuff I think, because it hasn't got too much peripherials (adc, etc.) which could make it too much sophisticated for a beginner.

So now would be a good time to get good at it!

I will learn C, beacuse I will be specialized in automatics, and I would like to work in this part of industry.

'C' is certainly more of a "mainstream" language than BASCOM.
Are you sure that your time wouldn't be better spent in improving your 'C' skills?

I already know the basic fundamentals, so I hadn't have to learn a whole new language like C. But as I wrote, I will learn C by all.

Thanks for everything! I will learn C I swear :-)
