I think you've still missed the point: for any specific application, there will probably be a (relatively) few microcontrollers that meet the specific requirements particularly well - but it is impossible to make any generalisation about whether PIC is "better" than 8051 or AVR or anything else without specific criteria. This is not anything particularly to do with microcontrollers; it applies to life in gneral: a question like "which is better, PIC or 8051" is as meaningless as asking "which is better, Ford or GM" |
