The OP asked the unanswerable question if a 8052 or a PIC is best.

Andy just wanted to know why OP didn't include the AVR in the question.

Such a question can not be voted "Answer is wrong", since it isn't an answer but a question.

Giving people bad votes for asking questions is one of the most counterproductive things anyone can be doing.
