The Vinculum chip will act as USB host and talk to a 8051 microcontroller. The Vinculum also will act as USB host for up to two USB devices.
A bit of warning however, unless things have changed a lot in the past 12 months or so the Vinculum is not an easy chip to work with. Regards, Bert |
