If I had a pound for every post here & on the Keil forum claiming to have found a compiler bug when it's really a coding error - I'd be rich! Back in the olden days when our PCs used 80286 and 80386 CPUs, the author of a PC application written in C would (and I'm not fibbing here) always claim that his program having gone bonkers must be due to a bad memory chip (this was also when you could change individual memory chips). Our PCs' memory became much more reliable after I started fixing all of this fellow's pointer bugs ;-) |
