#187847 - Javascript
Responding to: ???'s previous message
Note that there are seldom any need for Java - Javascript (or ECMAscript http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ECMAScript) can solve most interactive tasks in the web browser.

Java requires a java virtual machine (JVM) to be installed, and extra access rights. Javascript just requires that the user allows the scripting - and since so many web pages requires Javascript, the majority of users have scripting enabled.
