If the box is made of metal, then all of the box will be handled without any surface sensor. If the box is of plastic but contains metal, then the capacitive solution can be configured to project a distance from that metal - so it can detect events outside of the plastic box. In the end, it's more a question of adaptive logic to know where the alarm is "on" and when it is "off". |
