He said the 300 USD Keil JTAG was better than the 25USD ST one. He was pushing the F2 series parts since they are newer.
do not know about Keil, but with IAR you need the ST part to set some registers (e.g. HW start of watchdog) and the IAR part to debug. I have not had the need to set such registers with Keil. Erik |
