#183374 - C Language Supports No Carry Bits Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Manuik,
My comments regarding how to properly code the serial transmission of a byte into serial bits is something you need to learn about coding in C language. I showed you the appropriate way to do this and yet you chose to ignore and proceeded to re-post code that continued to guess that a carry flag is legitimate from one code line to the next. If you feel pressure it is because you have failed to comprehend what I've tried to show you. The comments I've made have absolutely nothing to do with specific details of what data patterns are needed to send commands and/or instructions to your HT16K33 device. Needless to say it is very important to get the interface code correct to the serial interface before there is any hope of being successful in talking to the HT16K33 device. Michael Karas |
