#181674 - get you through the HR office Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Generally, the credentials are needed to get you through the HR office
not just credentials. For many years I never uninvited applied for a job but was occasionally asked to give "my credentials" to a technical person. This worked very well. Now that I have semi-retired and want a contract (more than the "automatically offered" ones) now and then, I started applying for such. For a very long time I got no positiver responses. Then a kind person said "any engineer will love your resume, but it will never get you through HR" Well, together we rewrote it with the same basic content and now when I need to get away from home for a while, I typically get 3 offers in a week.
