#181627 - Don't wait too long Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Hi Kai,
There's little doubt that having a M.Sc would help you get a job over someone without an M.Sc. When I was going to school there were two ways to get an M.Sc - do the study then either undergo a detailed comprehensive examination covering everything you ever learned about engineering, including the M.Sc specific studies or do a thesis. Since the comprehensive exam was also the qualifying exam for a Phd, I elected the exam. Another idea for you is to think about going back and getting a business degree instead of a M.Sc. Whatever you decide I would not wait too long after graduating to start. The longer you wait the harder it will be to go back. Regards, Bert |
