Hi Forum Members,
Thanks for all your replies. Let me clear some cloud here. I had received a sales inquiry for controlling a motor rated at 560 V AC. I have worked in electronics over the years, but never encountered Electrical machines such as AC Drives, Motors, etc. What ever I have worked on, were related to controlling these equipments using the electronics. "Controlling a motor with a rating of 560 V AC" was news to me. In so many years I have never heard of such voltages, it was good to learn about these voltages in this thread. Andy Neil said:
