There is an almost infinite variety of different motors that run at an almost infinite variety of different voltages as suited to almost infinite variety of different applications and environments

I just think that used step-up tranformator to get 560 VAC.


More likely, it is designed for some specific industrial application where a 560VAC supply is available. Quite likely 3-phase.
