If an analog joystick is used together with a "set" button, then the usage is already quite different from the use of a normal linear or rotating potentiometer.
And the question then is if the customer needs to be able to quickly move the joystick to quickly change speed, or if it would be acceptable to use a digital joystick and use constant acceleration/retardation when one of the switches is activated. |
