#178988 - Not potentiometer normally gives other result than joystick Responding to: ???'s previous message |
But a potentiometer turned to 70% of full range will normally stay at that setting whe you remove your hand - so a connected motor will continue to run at 70% speed.
A joystick will normally center itself. So if the angle you move an analog joystick controls the motor speed, then the motor will stop when you release your grip of the joystick. If a stereo doesn't have a potentiometer for the volume, it normally instead have a + and a - button, increasing/decreasing the volume. Similar to a four-way digital joystick with switches. |
