#178414 - Hating them like the plague Responding to: ???'s previous message |
Not only blue, but at least 50 candela blue - or more explicitly 50,000mcd blue LED just to make sure people will notice the huge number.
When the computer accesses a HDD, the HDD light in the PC chassie is strong enough to light up not only the room where the computer is located, but also clearly lights up the walls of the neighbour room in case the door is open. A bit strange to sit in the living room and watch a movie using a projector and at the same time see the blue light flasing from a computer in a different room. Same thing with mobile phone. The blue light is strong enough to be clearly visible in the roof when I'm trying to sleep. Same thing with the blue "alive" LED on the bluetooth headset - also visible in the roof of the room. It was a long time ago people selected a LED to just give a visual indication of something. Right now, the LED also have to look like some people in distress trying to send morse messages with their flashlight. All it takes is a visit to CeBIT to make a person hate blue LEDs like the plague. |
